Can I hire a Turkish lawyer from the Netherlands?
Yes. Law Istanbul specialises in resolving legal matters in Turkey for clients who live in the Netherlands. We arrange intakes, updates and documents digitally or by appointment in the Netherlands.
Do you speak Dutch and Turkish?
Yes. You communicate in Dutch; we work with the Turkish legal system and the required procedures in Turkey. You do not need to master legal Turkish yourself.
Do I have to travel to Turkey for my case?
In most files, no. With a power of attorney and digital communication we can conduct many procedures on your behalf. If your presence is required, we tell you early and clearly.
What costs should I expect?
After an intake you receive a clear quote or fixed fee where possible. No surprises afterwards: we define scope, steps and costs in advance.
How quickly can my case start?
After the initial meeting and receipt of the core documents we usually start the first legal steps within a few working days.
Do you only handle cases in Istanbul?
No. We handle cases throughout Turkey. Istanbul is our base; where needed we work with local partners under our direction.
